Khershed P. Cooper Ph.D. Program Director for the Nanomanufacturing Program National Science Foundation
Dr. Khershed P. Cooper is Program Director for the  Nanomanufacturing Program at NSF. He also serves as Program  Officer for the Manufacturing Science Program at ONR and is  Senior Materials Scientist in the Materials Science and Technology  Division of NRL. His research and programmatic interests are  advanced materials processing and manufacturing, specifically  additive and nano-manufacturing. He is an advisor to the Rapid  Prototyping Journal and the Solid Freeform Fabrication  Symposium. He is a member of NSTC’s NSET sub-committee as  NSF representative and as co-chair of the Nanotechnology  Innovation, Liaison with Industry (NILI) working group. He has  organized and participated in several workshops and symposia in  additive and nano-manufacturing. He is a Fellow of ASM  International, and a recipient of ASM’s Burgess Memorial award,  several Best Paper awards and Society citations. He has nearly  140 publications, nearly 150 invited talks and nearly 70 contributed  presentations.
